I have always been a fan of The Body Shop, there was a time when I was obsessed with it’s products and it was my go to brand for skincare and body-care products. There are still few products from the brand that I absolutely swear by and use them quite often. This tea tree mask is one of those products.
As I have mentioned in almost every post I have dry dehydrated skin and I occasionally get some hormonal acne mostly on my chin or jawline, so I always keep clay masks handy that can help soothe my skin and helps heal the acne faster.
About the Mask :-
Like most of the clay mask, this mask also claims to make your skin feel firmer and clean out the clogged pores. It’s a Kaolin Clay mask infused with Tea Tree oil which will help cool down your skin. It claims to cleanse, cool and refresh blemished skin without over drying. also helps clear impurities whilst absorbing excess sebum, leaving skin feeling soothed and looking clearer. It feels great, it smells great and it is suitable for all skin types.
How and When to Use :-
After cleansing and toning, apply a generous layer on your face avoiding the eye area. I take it down to my neck to cover any blemishes near my jawline. Leave it to dry for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. You can also use a wash cloth to gently take it off.
It’s recommended to be used 1-2 times a week but since I have dry skin and clay mask can make it drier I use it once a week or whenever I feel like my skin needs a cool cleanse. It feels so refreshing and not at all drying. You will feel your skin a bit tighter and smoother afterwards.
Quick Tip :- Tea Tree oil in it pure form can be harsh for the skin, so always dilute it with something before applying it on your skin.
Where to buy the Mask :-
I bought mine at the Body Shop Store. You can buy it at The Body Shop, Ulta Beauty or Amazon.
