Oribe Foundation Mist Review 2020 – Anti frizz conditioning spray

Oribe Foundation Mist Review 2020 – Anti frizz conditioning spray

Don’t you hate it when you wash your hair and it’s super clean and it smells nice but just after drying, they are all frizzy and static and they just don’t listen. Well I face this issue all the time.

A little info about my hair type :-

I have naturally fine and wavy hair. My scalp is on the drier side and same is my hair. I live in Colorado and it’s so dry that my hair is always so frizzy and static and it’s super frustrating and since I have very fine hair, a lot of leave in conditioners I try weighs my hair down and it just lays flat with no volume at all.

Oribe’s Foundation Mist – Conditioning Spray

About the Oribe’s Foundation Mist :-

Around 2 years ago, I got introduced to this brand Oribe by my hair stylist and I immediately bought it and it was one of the best decision for my static loving hair. Oribe is a high end hair care line and their products are absurdly good. I have used Shampoo and Conditioner from the brand but what impressed me the most is the Foundation Mist.
This product adds the shine, the texture and most importantly it prevents the static and frizz which is what I look for in a leave in hair product. It is a weightless conditioning spray that doesn’t weigh down your hair, and thus it is suitable for fine hair as well oily hair.

Fun Fact :- The founder of the brand Oribe, was a Cuban-born American hairstylist. His name is pronounced oh-REE-beh, since it’s a Spanish name, but the brand is pronounced or-BAY, because when he moved to the US, people in his hometown couldn’t say it properly and the mispronunciation stuck.

This is how my hair looks after using the Foundation Mist

How to Use :-

Spray on wet hair as a leave in conditioner or spray on dry hair to use as a primer before styling. It doesn’t have a hold to it so it is mainly to prep the hair before styling. It has a beautiful fresh fragrance, all of the Oribe’s product have this beautiful signature scent. The formula is free of sulfates and parabens.

It’s anti-static, it de-tangles, nourishes, provides sun and heat protection and it almost does everything you want your hair product to do. I absolutely love this mist, the packaging is really good and with the fine spray you don’t use a lot of product and one bottle will for a much longer time for you. Overall it is totally worth the price.

Where to buy the Foundation Mist :-

I bought mine from the Hair Salon and another one from Oribe’s online store. I have seen some hair salons keeping it, you can also buy it from Oribe’s online store, Amazon or Nordstrom.
