I’ve been super busy lately and haven’t had a chance to publish a blog post. However, I’m back and I’m here with a Haircare routine for healthy hair. Sharing with you some of the products I have been trying and enjoying a lot lately.
*PR/Gifted – Products are gifted but Opinions are 100% of my own.
To start with, a little detail about my hair type – I have very fine curly wavy hair, my hair is color treated and they are really dry both hair and scalp.
Zion Health were kind enough to send me their hair care set which included a Hair and Scalp Scrub, an Intense repair Hair mask and a scalp nutrition serum. I have been using them for almost a month now and here’s my thoughts on all these products. I’m a big fan of Intense Hair Masks since I have very dry hair that needs all the hydration it can get. This one from Zion Health Inc. has a great ingredients list. It contains Hydrolyzed Barley Protein that penetrates deep into the hair to repair the damage. It makes the hair feel thick and healthy. The hair mask also contains Shea butter for moisturizing the scalp. It contains lemon essential oil which plays an important role in promoting Hair growth. It also contains a great concoction of Vitamin E, Argan Oil and Sweet Almond Oil to keep the hair strands nourished and moisturized.
How to Use :- After shampoo, apply a generous amount to damp hair and cover with a shower cap. Leave it for 5-20 minutes to work it’s magic. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Texture of the Hair Mask :- The Hair Mask is very creamy smooth textured. It has a subtle scent of lime and lavender from the essential oils. The scent is not overwhelming, it’s very subtle and it lingers on for a while.
My experience :- I wash my hair twice a week and I use an intense repair mask once a week. This is a great hair mask, it instantly makes the hair feels strong and healthy. After rinsing my hair is left really smooth and it does not weigh my fine hair down. It helps control hair frizz a lot.

Do you use a Hair scrub in your routine? If not you’re missing out on the refreshing feeling of a clean scalp. A clean and healthy scalp is a foundation to healthy hair. As we use so much products on our hair, a layer of product and dirt and sweat gets build up on the scalp. It’s important to deep cleanse your scalp once every 1-2 weeks.
I really enjoy a good exfoliating hair scrub. This one from Zion Health Inc. is exfoliating and nourishing. It contains Argan Oil which conditions the hair and protects the hair against environmental damage. It also contains Sea Salt to gently exfoliate the scalp to remove dead skin cells, dirt and product buildup and to increase circulation.
One of the ingredient is Biotin which is an important vitamin for hair health. Biotin improves hair strength and reduces hair fall and brittle hair. Other nourishing ingredients are Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Vitamin E.
How to Use :- Apply to wet or damp hair. Massage gently on the scalp working through the ends of the hair. Rinse well. Follow up with a shampoo if required.
Texture of the Hair Scrub :- It has a nice sea salt scrub texture. It also has a strong green apple scent in it. The scrub is coarse but not harsh. It melts up when massaged gently on the scalp.
My experience :- I really enjoy the refreshing and clean feeling this scrub gives to my hair. My hair feels healthy and smooth and any itchiness in the scalp is relieved. I have used it almost 4-5 times until now.

This serum is a great cocktail of all kinds of nourishing oils that are great for Hair and Scalp health. Massaging your hair every day or alternate days with a bit of an oil or serum can help stimulate hair growth and increase blood circulation. This serum contains Hemp Seed Oil which is great in reducing any inflammation or redness on the scalp. It also contains Olive oil which protects the hair against any damage and reduces frizz and breakage. Castor Oil and Rosehip seed oil are great source of fatty acids and antioxidants and they really help to seal in the moisture in the hair and promotes hair growth.
As I mentioned it has an amazing ingredients list so the other oils included are Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Thyme essential oil, Rosemary Oil (which is another great oil for hair growth), Peppermint Essential Oil and many more.
How to Use :- Apply 3-4 drops to clean and damp scalp. Massage at the hair roots on the entire scalp. No rinsing required. Style your hair as usual.
Texture of the Serum :- It has a very lightweight oil texture. It has a nice peppermint scent to it which feels refreshing and cooling on the scalp. The texture is light but make sure not to put too much product else your hair will end up looking oily.
My experience :- I have experienced that my hair fall is reduced with regular use of the serum oil on my scalp. I take 3-4 drop on my finger tips and massage gently on my hair roots. The massage itself is very relaxing and it’s enhanced by the use of this serum. Peppermint scent makes the experience spa like. I have really fine hair so I use this serum only 2 times a week but you can massage a bit even daily.
